Niall, a frown flitting across his face, as he drew his knife from
his belt.
“You hear it,
too?” Niall murmured. His heart pounded a sudden sharp staccato.
The air shimmered more brightly before Mary as a second clap of
thunder jolted them all.
Hugh’s head shot
up. “God in Heaven!” he exclaimed.
Amy, there you are! Thank goodness!
