Niall's Time in a Nutshell

In a nutshell, the Battle of Bannockburn, for which Niall was supposed to raise men, was one of Scotland’s greatest moments– perhaps the greatest. It was the battle, in 1314, in which Robert the Bruce, with approximately 5,000 men, including a small contingent of light cavalry (read: ponies) completey routed the massive army, perhaps as many as 20,000, including 2,000 heavy warhorses, of Edward II of England.
