• 16: Bruce addresses a letter to the Bishop of St. Andrews lamenting dilapidated condition of Monastery of Dunfermline, as a result of continual war, expressing compassion, and conveying to the Monastery, for the increase of its hospitality, the Church of Kynros, with the Chapel of Urwell, in honor of the sepulchers of the kings of Scotland, his predecessors, who were buried there, and of his own place of rest, to be there; requests the intervention of the bishops for carrying out this intention.
